We have been educating and training
men and woman of the United Union
of Roofers,Waterproofers and Allied
Workers for years. The fact is, when one becomes associated with the apprenticeship program those apprentices earn while they learn in the roofing trade. This means they earn a living wage and receive benefits by working in the trade while attending class to become a highly skilled Journeyperson.
Apprenticeship
The next term for all Detroit Apprentices will be as follows:
Apprentice 2 & Single Ply 1 - Monday, July 19, 2021
Apprentice 1 & Single Ply 2 - Tuesday, July 20
BUR 1 & Steep Slope 1 - Wednesday July 21
BUR 2 & Steep Slope 2 - Thursday, July 22
Apprentice 7 & 8 Hands On + Safety & Health -
Thursday, July 22
All classes begin at 6:30pm
Journeyworkers
Journeyworkers upgrade classes to improve your skills, your worth, and our Brotherhood/Sisterhood is available at no cost to all Detroit LU 149 members.
Dues must be current in order to enter the Training Center.
